Faroh's

The Faroh family has been making chocolate for three generations! 

For eighty three years, our candy has been made in our kitchen to bring you the finest quality in handmade chocolates.

Mr. Taufie Faroh began making candy in his home in 1932. Together, Taufie and his wife Mehaba with their 10 children, would create the candy, load it into their wagon to sell to the people of Lorain, Ohio. In 1947, Faroh's Candies was estabished when two of the Faroh sons, George and Charles, built the brick and mortor store in downtown Lorain.

George made the candy, using his  grandfather's recipes and some of his own, Charles ran the store. Their business expanded and included a location in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. While that original location burned down, Faroh's remains a part of the Middleburg Heights community in a store front on Pearl Road.

Great Grand son Tom Faroh still uses the family recipes of Grandpa Taufie to create the delicious French Chocolates & Mallo that Faroh's Candies is famous for. Each piece is brimming with homemade goodness and filled with gourmet flavor. These candies are created at the Lorain location right on Broadway Avenue.
